Andrew Bedard
With humble origins from rural Massachusetts, saxophonist and composer Andrew Bedard’s passion for teaching and performing music drove him straight into the Boston music scene from an early age. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree of Music from the New England Conservatory where he had the opportunity to learn from jazz masters Dave Holland, Cecil McBee, Jerry Bergonzi, Donny McCaslin, Mark Turner, Frank Carlberg, Miguel Zenon, Billy Hart, Ted Reichman, and John McNeil. Since his studies, he has continued to play and teach music all over New England, including the Gorham School of Music & MAMM.
