Private Lessons
We offer private lessons for guitar, piano, drums, violin, cello, bass and ukulele.
Registration: We ask students to register for lessons in trimesters. There will be three trimesters and a summer session which will closely follow the Gorham Schools calendar and include vacation weeks in February, April, late June/early July and December (see calendar). For simplicity and convenience, current students will automatically keep their lesson times and be extended into the next session.
Once a trimester is underway, new students may register and enroll at any time! The tuition will be prorated to reflect the remaining number of lessons/weeks in the current trimester.
Payment: Payment for the full trimester is due by or before your first lesson of the current session. (We are more than willing to discuss other payment options whenever necessary.)
*Once a trimester begins, requests to withdraw will be considered individually. In extenuating circumstances, for students who must withdraw before the 6th week of the session, a tuition credit toward future lessons at GSM may be issued for the balance of the session. Credit balances are valid for ONE YEAR only from date of issue. No credits will be issued after the 6th week of any session.
Cancellations: There’s a makeup week included at the end of each trimester/session where no regular lessons are scheduled. Each student is entitled to ONE makeup “freebie” during that week for a cancellation made more than 24 hours in advance or due to sickness. ***Same-day cancellations will be forfeited. ALL teacher cancellations will be rescheduled and made up.
INVESTMENT: Our Winter Trimester begins the week of December 4th!
